Using well-established quality principles and tools in our schools, EdisonLearning creates frameworks within the school that help guide teachers and administrators on an ongoing basis.
Our continuous improvement methodology is based in the principle of data-driven decision making. A system of initial and ongoing assessments is an essential part of this process, providing the fundamental data on which to base targeted measures for academic improvement. The regular and ongoing nature of the process is an important contributor to progress, and involves all stakeholders – administrators, teachers, students and families – in a manner that not only measures quality and achievement, but provides feedback to point the way towards higher achievement.
In the coming school year, EdisonLearning will be working with partners to help each school fully align long-term vision and mission with current student achievement and school management plans so that school performance measurements are effective tools for monitoring progress. In addition, we will improve and extend our use of school performance Dashboards to all schools.
