About School Designs

A complete educational solution

To provide a world-class education to the students in your care, great schools are needed, and that’s what EdisonLearning™ School Designs offers. It is an end-to-end, top-to-bottom approach to K-12 education, one that addresses the entire learning experience and how it is delivered – from school organization and scheduling, to curriculum, to professional development, and administration.

EdisonLearning School Designs is a whole school solution, created for the establishment of new schools or the transformation of existing public schools. It helps school districts and independent charter holders provide school choices to the families in their community, with a school design and academic program that has been proven effective in a variety of communities across the country, including some with the most intractable records of sub-par achievement. Whether you need to restructure your schools in order to address accountability mandates, are looking to open a new school to anchor a neighborhood development or re-development effort, or seek to elevate an existing school from good to great, EdisonLearning School Designs can help you.

How School Designs and Achievement Services differ

EdisonLearning Achievement Services are similar to EdisonLearning School Designs in the sense that they are both intensive, building-based partnerships that use dedicated teams to target and deliver school improvement and student learning.

Although cut from the same cloth of achievement, there are clear differences in the offering:

  • School Designs is a “whole school” solution that includes all services – academic, operational, administrative, etc. – as well as prescribed recommendations for the execution of key components such as curriculum, scheduling, and staffing.
  • Achievement Services focuses on core academic areas including curriculum and instruction, professional development for leaders and teachers, assessment and data-driven decision making – the highest-impact areas that affect learning.
